This year the Training Lectures for the students of the Summer School “Summer Students at Fermilab and other US laboratories” were organised in collaboration with "Young Mu2e". Early-career scientists working in the Mu2e experiment delivered seminars and were involved in the visits to the tracker and calorimeter facilities.

The 2017 edition of the event “Incontri di Fisica” was held in the days 4-6 October. Profiting of the availability of pre-production components of the Mu2e calorimeter, the “Particle Detection with Scintillating Materials” Working Group proposed the measurement of the properties of scintillating crystals and Silicon Photo-Multipliers (SiPMs).

MUSE researchers actively participated to the "Community Open House", a big event with tours, demos and hands-on activities for the general public organised to celebrate the Fermilab 50th Anniversary. Young researchers put all their enthusiasm to help preparing posters on Muon (g-2) and Mu2e experiments and to realise a 3D printing, small-scale model of the g-2 laser calibration system. More than 4,000 people visited the Muon Campus during the event.
