In the first edition of the Frascati Detector School (21-23 March 2018), a MUSE researcher, involved in the organisation of the event and convener of the calorimeter session, gave two lectures on calorimetry:
– Calorimeters: general principles
– Low-energy calorimetry
The Calorimetry session was completed by other two presentations on “High-granularity calorimetry” from the CMS experiment and “DREAM-like approach to calorimetry” for the DREAM R&D project. In the two half-days dedicated to laboratory activities, MUSE researchers organised also a session on “Scintillating crystals for calorimetry” in the Mu2e clean room.
